I can't help but wonder, if the people behind this legislation were taking some cues from California's failed Prop 60. And it likewise proves their duplicity.

That bill was never about keeping anyone safe, it was about trying to enforce one group's personal morality upon others, by treating the people it most impacts like children who need to be parented - and giving the public the role of mommy and daddy in that scenario.

It's almost as if the ultra-conservative movement in this country doesn't have a problem with "Big Government" interfering in individual lives. Their beef is when it fails to interfere where they want it to. Just more evidence that the movement has no business calling itself "pro-life."
