From “Dreaming in Emotions,” to “Imagining” the Future of Aphantasia

I was asked, recently, about how and when I discovered that I have aphantasia — and what my personal goals and desires are, for the future of aphantasia research. As is often the case, my reply became something far too large to contain in a single email or web form.
